mysql to mssql

i have dumped a mysql database to my my documents folder on my server, how can i convert this to a mssql database.

the database came from a site that was in php and of course using mysql, the database has all the users logon information and other information in there personal profile.

i would like to convert this to a mssql database and connect it to the new site i am doing in .net/C#

I don't think there is any conversion tool to do that.|||

You have to use mySQL ODBC data source and import data from this source to SQL server, you can use SSIS package. Another solution is to do it inside your C# code you can have two connections and copy data from first (MYSQL) to second (MSSQL).

SSIS package will be faster.

And after that, or better before you have to create database structure on MS SQL server. but remember that MYSQL and MS SQL are not compatible.

'My Reports' folder not being created for some users

Hi,
I was just nosing around the DB, and I noticed that all the users are in the
'users' table, but the user accounts don't appear in the 'PolicyUserRole'
table, and hence there are not any policies for them.
I don't know if this helps any or just confuses...
And there aren't any application events in the log on the server, either.

Thanks for the reply but if the user can't see the folder, how can they
browse to it? As is explained further on in the text, some users seem to
get them created automatically, while others don't. So I need either a way
to create the folder manually (some SQL?) or an explanation of the user
differences as to why a folder would be created for one user but not for
another...

>|||When My Reports is enabled, ListChildren will always return a folder named
'My Reports', even if it has not been created for that user. That is why it
will show up in Report Manager. The first time a user calls any soap method
that uses the My Reports folder, RS will create the corresponding folder in
the user directory that the My Reports folder points to. If you have each
user just call ListChildren on '/My Reports' then each user will have the
'My Reports' folder created.

Ok, here is what I did to get it to work:
I logged in as a user that had a working 'My Reports' folder
I copied the URL
(http://webstats.co.uk/Reports/Pages/Folder.aspx?ItemPath=%2fMy+Reports&IsDe
tailsView=False)
I then logged in as a user that was having a problem
I then pasted the preceeding URL and loaded it.
Then using the admin user, put some reports into the 'My Reports' folder of
the problem user.
And, voila! Now they have their own 'My Reports' folder! Woo hoo!

folder and this will cause their My Reports folder to be created.

My Reports folder is invisible

I am trying to locate the "My Reports" folder on the SSRS site, but I dont think I am able to see it. I am an admin on the box with Browser, Content Manager, My Reports roles.

I also tried creating the folder manually and it says the folder exists but I cant see it.

I have also checked on the "Site Settings" and checked the box "Enable My Reports". What else am I missing here?

this, or that the localization should be automatic if the OS hosting the
report server is localized to French:

My Reports folder

Hi everyone,
I reinsralled my reporting services (on sql 2000) and i have a problem:
i added users and if one user create folder everyone else can see his
folder. also the my reports folder is not created auto like it was.
cant i create a folder that only i can see?
thanksThe folder that all of the My Reports are in is Users... If everyone can
see this, then either everyone is an administrator, or you need to reduce the
permissions on the Users folder.
To have the My Reports folders created automatically you must
Check the Enable My Reports box from the SIte Settings menu item on the top
left of Report Manager. There you can also setup the permissions that
individuals have on their My Reports folder.
